Access to the database must be configured during the initial setup. This configuration can be called up again later via the administration menu.
First define a database type. Depending on the database type, you must now enter additional data such as the server address, the port and the name of the database. A user name and a password are required for each database type.
In the lower area, specify how many database connections should be made available. There are no generally valid values here. These depend on the number of simultaneous users as well as on the hardware available.
With a click on Test connection you can check whether the entered connection parameters are correct. After the connection test has been completed, the data can be accepted by clicking on Save. They will then be stored for future use.
